The four FOHOW elixirs look alike: vials, the same cordyceps in the composition, similar names. The differences are real and easy to state — pack size, what the formulation is built on, and cost per millilitre. This article puts them side by side so you do not have to compare four product pages one at a time.
science What all four share
All four are liquid food supplements supplied in glass vials holding a single serving. All four are built on cordyceps extract.
Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) is a mushroom that grows naturally on the Tibetan plateau above 3500 metres. In Chinese culture it is called Himalayan gold, for its rarity and the difficulty of reaching where it grows. It has been valued in traditional Chinese practice for centuries.
All four are made in the same FOHOW factory in Zhuhai and are notified to VMVT.
package_2 Fohow Oral Cordyceps — 4 x 30 ml
The base product in the line and the one bought most often. Four vials of 30 ml, 120 ml in total.
The elixir is called Phoenix — that is the name of the formulation, not a separate product. Alongside cordyceps the composition includes other components of the traditional Chinese formulation; the exact list is on the product page.
It suits anyone who wants to get to know the format without buying a large pack.
package_2 Legend Edition — 6 x 30 ml
The same oral cordyceps line in a larger pack: six vials of 30 ml, 180 ml in total.
The main difference from the base version is the pack size. The exact composition of each is on its own page and is worth comparing before you buy, because the formulations are not identical.
A larger pack usually works out cheaper per millilitre, which makes it the more convenient choice once you already know the product.
package_2 Sanbao — 4 x 30 ml
Sanbao means three treasures in Chinese. It is a separate formulation rather than a variant of the cordyceps elixir, although cordyceps is in it too.
The pack is four vials of 30 ml. Alongside cordyceps the composition lists ganoderma (linchzhi) and ginseng components; the full list and quantities are on the product page.
The Foherb line has its own Sanbao, supplied as 6 x 30 ml. That is a separate product, not the same one in a different box.
package_2 Sanqing (Sancin) — 4 x 30 ml
Sanqing is the third distinct formulation. On GAVAU.LT it is sold as Fohow Sancin drinking elixir — Sanqing Liquid, four vials of 30 ml.
The composition lists plant components: aloe, ginkgo biloba, chrysanthemum, hericium and others. The full list is on the product page.
In the Foherb line, Sanqing comes in a different pack — 12 vials of 10 ml. The total volume is similar but the serving is smaller.
