What Chitomur is
The active part of Chitomur is a peptide complex isolated from the tissues of the bladder wall of young animals. The manufacturer's documents describe them as low molecular weight peptides — up to 5000 Da.
Peptide bioregulators are tissue-specific: studies observed that the peptides act on the cells of the very tissues they were isolated from. For Chitomur that is the bladder.
Forms and composition
- Capsules — 10 mg of active substance per capsule. Packs of 20 or 60 capsules.
- Sublingual form — a 10 ml bottle with a dispenser.
How it is taken
The manufacturer's guidance for capsules: adults take 1–2 capsules 1–2 times a day with meals. A course usually runs 30 days.
For the sublingual form: 5–6 drops under the tongue 3–4 times a day, 10–15 minutes before meals.
Research
Chitomur was studied at the Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. The research direction in peptide bioregulation was begun by Professor Vladimir Khavinson.
